Caffeine is a diuretic (removes fluids from your body) and will affect your Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) by increasing your heart rate and blood pressure. It is classed as a stimulant and is used by many students to keep them awake!
Caffeine is one of the three (Nicotine & alcohol) most widely used mood-affecting drugs on this planet.
Were you aware that it will remain in your body for many hours and has a half life of 6 hours!
My hope is that you do not use caffeine in your coffee/tea to get you started in the morning! If your adrenal glands are tired then find out what is causing this.
There are different amount of caffeine in coffee, teas (Green, white, dark), canned energy drinks, some herbal teas and so on.
My opinion is you do not drink more than three cups of coffee in any one morning and DO NOT consume or eat anything with caffeine after 12 NOON. If you do you will challenge your body to remove this drug from your body before you get to bed by 2200/2230hrs! You will challenge your body from moving into a Delta & Theta brain activity, essential for growth and repair if you have caffeine in your system.
Experts consider 200-300 mg of caffeine a day! Naturally this depends on your body size, metabolism, hydration levels, state of mind, etc.
Teenagers should not be consuming more than 100 mg per day. One cup of coffee contains around 115 mg.
Are you dependent on having caffeine in your coffee/tea in a morning? Are you addicted to it?
If you answered yes to the above, what would your body feel like without this drug? If you choose to, wean yourself off slowly, reducing your number of cups each week by one.
Drinking caffeine in excess has been shown to increase peoples weight, cause heart beat irregularities, headaches, insomnia, increase in blood pressure, shakiness, palpitations, weakness and much more.
TAKE CONTROL of your health right NOW. Enjoy the journey, sending love

HOST UNIVERSAL Ethical communications. The World Fair Trade Organization asks government leaders a big question, the answer to which will determine the kind of world we live in and the kind of values we live by. We don’t have to live with poverty, climate change and economic crisis. The values we live by determine the outcome not just for us but for future generations. The WFTO has a letter signed by leading figures and economists requesting for a shift in values from Greed and Ignorance to Transparency, Accountability and Fairness. The question, the letter and the tools for a sustainable economy will be presented to the G8 in July. www.worldfairtradeday10.org
